We cannot believe we had the camera handy when 9.5 month old Evan took his first steps away from the ottoman in the middle of January. Sorry bout the red eye, but ya gotta publish a first step. I mean C`mon!
I must say, he looks pretty cute in his sisters old onesie. Real boys wear mint!
Standing on his own is easy…but how bout that step little boy..
Look at me Mom, no hands! He jinxed me this time but luckily I had the camera close by
when I caught that first step a few hours later
Tired but happy me. It`s fun to be his mum.

These are my thoughts on living a healthy and simple life. I'm a modern mom with some traditional ideas. At home, I try to clear the confusion from all the conflicting health and parenting advice with some common sense and a natural philosophy. This is the sanest way I know how to navigate the 21 century.

This is so exciting, Monica! My son Nicholas started walking when he was 9.5 too and it seems to me like it was yesterday. He is 3 now. You two look adorable:) Thank you for sharing your precious moments with your son and bringing sweet memories to me.

Adorable! 9.5 isn’t late =)
I love these photos! I agree 9.5 months is not too late! It was so nice talking to you tonight! I’m online researching – go figure! Thanks for always thinking of me.

Monica,
Thanks for sharing these precious moments!
Maybe you could enjoy reading an old post that I published about “learning to walk”
I am not including the link because I don`t want to abuse of your hospitality…
Congratulations, proud mom!
All he best,
Boris
Boris – Thank you, I am proud each day! I will head over to you now and read. Thanks for taking the time to comment.
Sommer – Let me know how the research goes…wink. Our kids are growing up! And we’ve been able to see this, although from a distance. Great to chat again
Jennifer – I deleted the spot in my post which referred to “late.” I meant to say that I’m publishing late, and now see how it reads as Evan is late. OOPS! Ahhh writing, I learn each day. Great to see you again, all the best.
