I realized I didn’t have any pictures of me and my baby bump (aside from wild hair in a housecoat!) so I had my hubs snap this the other night. I am feeling like my old self now after the short bout of exhaustion and we are now awaiting our 35 week ultrasound to get additional insight on how baby’s kidney is doing.
Baby is very responsive (a major snuggler from what I can tell!) and my pregnancy is otherwise going very smoothly so I am feeling optimistic. We also have a pro photoshoot scheduled because I still wish we had some pics of my “Liv belly” as well as some classic B&W newborn shots of her. It will be fun to have Liv in these pictures because she is always sticking her ear on my belly to see if baby will kick her. I’ll share those shots in a few weeks!
All the best, I hope you are doing well!
These are my thoughts on living a healthy and simple life. I'm a modern mom with some traditional ideas. At home, I try to clear the confusion from all the conflicting health and parenting advice with some common sense and a natural philosophy. This is the sanest way I know how to navigate the 21 century.

Monica, this is beautiful. I wish I had a picture like this that I could cherish. For some reason I picture you with short hair but that’s because of the photos I see you have shorter hair. I’m glad you are feeling like yourself and yes you have made it to the home stretch!

It is a beautiful shot of yourself. With your face hidden from the camera, you are really drawing attention to the bump inside you. Oh yes, do take more pictures with Liv. Such moments are precious. They are worth keeping records on.
Please also take care of yourself!!
With love,
Evelyn

Hi Monica,
Very cool, the home stretch – how exciting!
Love the shot – without your face in the shot, the focus is really on the baby.
I wish you well on this final stretch…
I love this photograph of you and your bump. Also, I am so happy that you are having a healthy pregnancy, and I will be keeping you and your baby (and your loved ones) in my thoughts in the coming weeks as you prepare to meet your little one. Again, congratulations!
What a wonderful shot.

I just came to your site from a twitter tip. I can tell just from the simple layout and heartfelt writing that this is a blog that I want to continue to visit. I am subscribing now (after I write this!)
All the best with your upcoming ultrasound. The picture is beautiful. I am jealous that I don’t have any half as beautiful. I look all nasty and bloated in mine. Not really scrapbook material!

You’re beautiful! I’m so excited for the wee one to come! I hope all is well!
oh, i love this shot! i’m at 31 weeks and scheduling some belly photos too, though i’m a little afraid, as the ginormous belly sometimes has a mind of its own.
