Two Pink Lines – Oh My!

by Monica on September 5, 2008

Yup! This is the big news I was waiting to share with you. That’s exactly how the little white stick looked a few weeks back. My hubs and I are so excited to be expecting our second baby sometime around the end of April. Olivia will have just turned two years old and she will make a terrific big sister.

I have had quite a rough go of morning sickness that last few weeks. It’s the kind that lasts all day long. At least I am craving foods a little more healthy than the last time where all I could handle was foods I would never normally eat. This time the saviors are smoothies, raita (yogurt with cucumber and lemon), Greek salad and Miss Vickies salt & vinegar chips.

My time online has been severely limited while I stay horizontal for most of the day. My husband has been a hero, picking up the house and managing work while taking care of Liv. My apologies to you for few posts here at HGM and to my blogging friends for not stopping by your blogs and saying Hi. I miss you! I hope to be back at it in a couple of weeks?! Fingers are crossed.

I have just a few goals with this pregnancy. I plan to exercise more, do yoga regularly and sign up for Hypno Birthing classes which I have heard so much about.

In the meantime, I’ll see you again soon with more energy and inspiration to bring to Healthy Green Moms!

Oh congrats babe! I’m so happy for you. Homeopathics seemed to help with my morning sickness. Hope the pukies are gone soon!

Now I feel REALLY guilty about that email to you that’s been sitting in my drafts forever! ;)

congrats! Glad to hear this run is a closer fit for you food wise! I know when I was preggers all I wanted was fast food – which is normally the farthest thing from my diet!

Congratulations! I’m due with #3 on February 3. I was a bit luckier than you with the morning sickness, it sounds like.

Congratulations! I am so, so happy for you! And thankfully morning sickness is temporary, but it sucks that its lasting all day for you. Here’s wishing you a healthy, happy pregnancy!

OOh, Congrats! I am expecting baby #4 at the beginning of April and that morning sickness can be a real killer! I hope that you regain some energy soon. I keep thinking I will exercise/yoga and whatever sometime soon but the morning sickness is just not cooperating at all :)
