Hello,
Not sure any of you are there, I’ve neglected this blog for quit some time. Nothing much happening…just a little soul searching, cracks of time time spent nourishing myself and getting clear on my next step…
All is well in the HGM home. We are gearing up to move (again). I”ll spare you the details on why we have moved so so much, but I am counting the days for this one. This time I am really excited.
It’ll be the first time we actually have a REAL family home. It’s ours. OURS. Not a reno, or an investment. Just a happy little home for us.
And a yard…a huge yard, that is right off the main level. I can see the yard from all windows. It was all about the yard…
The kids? I see unstructured playtime for days on end.
For me? A vegetable garden for keeps, arbors, birdbaths, composts, chimes, and boxes to unpack that I’ve not a clue about what’s inside. Time spent tinkering and beautifying.
Sigh, and perhaps I’ll be able to put my feet up?
I thought these shots were perfect for this weeks You Capture theme at I Should be Folding Laundry (where you can check out all the other interesting and amazing entries)
The Forsythia in full bloom makes a perfect backdrop for this shot.
We did discuss that garden water is not like the water in her cup…but hey?
She seems to think it’s OK.
Her favorite yellow duck shirt…that’s nearly too small.
